David Asiala is a principal owner of Digital Consultancy Associates offering his expertise on digital business, data, analytics and artificial intelligence topics.
David brings more than 35 years of experience to bear for clients. Prior to his retirement in 2019, David served as the Chief Analytics Officer at Dow responsible for the realization of a strategy he authored to monetize data decisioning across the company.
Over his career, he worked with virtually every function and many of the lines of business to enable their strategies with IT capabilities. David’s influence was felt in areas from global work sourcing to worldwide SAP implementations. Throughout his career, he has provided his unique perspective in many industry forums and conferences.

David Asiala
David holds a Bachelors in Physics from Alma College. He has also completed executive education at the Thunderbird American Graduate School of International Management. David has guest lectured at Michigan State University in the business and engineering schools. He has served on the board of the Midland Country Club and as a member of Technical Advisory Board for Axia. David previously served on the boards of the ChemITC and EPCGlobal both industry standards organizations.
